Charlotte straightened my hair tonight. I don't even know what to think. It's already starting to try to curl again.

Photo on Facebook, for the morbidly curious.

Aw... I was all ready to laugh, but it doesn't look at all ridiculous. My hair just stood straight up on end when it was straightened at that length.

Straightened hair? TO THE FACEBOOK!

Also, Bonnie, that story of yours was pretty fucked and I'm sad to hear it

I know, I was kind of surprised it came out the way it did. I just thought it'd look silly.

It's still holding some of the straightness today but has largely regained its curl. If nothing else, we found out just how long my hair is at the moment! Pretty sure it's never been this long before.

I've vowed to never tamper with my curly hair ever. Ever straightening it is so off limits for me.

I've always resented having curly hair.

Pretty much I want the opposite of what I have. I don't care so much these days, but when I was younger I wished I had jet black straight hair. I hate to think how bad that'd look with my pale skin though!

I still find it amusing that just about 50% of the high school male population straighten their hair. I think, personally, it looks like utter shit. Like merging a porcupine with a cat in your hair.

I would love to have straight, heavy hair that just sits wherever I want to put it. That will never ever happen, though, not even with straightening. I'm gradually learning to be happy with what I've got... *L*

Did we know Vlad had curly hair before?

My trip to California is looking more and more feasible. so that's, you know, coming along. I'm really worried the orthopedist is going to say I need shoulder surgery on Tuesday.

Hope it doesn't come to that, Reggo! Your trip to California wouldn't be as much fun if you were recovering from surgery.

no, i suppose not. plus, I'll need the money to pay off the surgery instead of going. I knew something would get in the way of my trip. Knew it.

Amazingly... the straightened hair looks pretty... fine? A little on the side of haircuts I imagine dudes from bands I wouldn't like would have, but it actually looks pretty good.

Thanks Ashley, really appreciate it. I'm feeling better now though, in a weird way it's made me more inspired than ever to achieve what I want. I guess, at its core, it's about proving people wrong and educating jerks. Another positive is that this whole ordeal has made it even more apparent just how big a problem misogyny is when it comes to gaming, so I hope it's the start of a big change.

Sorry 2 all if I've looked like an angry feminist on various social media outlets the past few days... hey, I guess it had to happen one day.
