Are there any other Yardbird fans out there? I grew up on these guys. I saw their Greatest Hits CD from Rhino at the RRHOF and couldn't resist. They were *so* great. As much as I love the Beatles and the Stones I like these guys better. They had a very original sound, IMO. No one sounded like them, and they didn't sound like anyone else. They were *set apart* from ordinary rock bands, just like U2 are.
