After you sell out, the record company will use you as a product and take away any creative control. So to say that you would make art after selling out seems pretty naive.

Honestly, I think I would, If I could get paiid for a piece of mousic I'd do it.As much as it pains me to hear one of my favorite songs on a commercial (Call Me) I think I could do it. My hat's off to U2 for turning doon that great big deal for "Streets". That must have been hard, but they needed to keep the song for shows.

Overall in music, I think all the acts that start designing clothes/shoes, perfumes etc. are selling out. I think they turned into a brand and stopped being a musician, and it looks really greedy.
