But I consider the live and studio versions to be two completely different songs.

I've not been too big on the last 2 albums, but overall they pulled out the live magic for Vertigo.

I'm also biased, because the live versions of Elevation and Beautiful Day were one of the things that turned me on to U2. That and hearing Pride repeatedly.
