I don't think the penis is attractive in the least. Yes, I am a feminist, but I am being objective here - and yes, as a feminist, it is possible to speak of the male genitalia objectively. Aesthetically, it, or the whole of the "area," is not pleasing to me.

Funny you should mention that...even as a heterosexual female, I don't really have a whole lot of interest in the penis. Most of them are funny-looking, in my opinion. I certainly would never want to have one. Breasts are much prettier.

I think it's just the idea of having...something...hanging...off my body. It would just disturb me. Now, I have seen one or two really nice-looking penises in my lifetime, and I certainly encourage guys to be proud of their penises, whatever the size or shape. But just like some guys aren't "breast guys," I'm not a "penis girl."

Much like the male genitalia - it's not horribly pretty - but serves its purpose. It is hidden well in the female body - unlike the male penis.

HelloAngel, I don't quite get the point you're making about being a feminist, the point of being feminist is not to reproach the male sex organs (or anything male for that matter on the basis that it belongs to the masculine gender)

as for the female genitalia, if you mean the vagina and clitoris, I would say that most men find it pleasing aesthetically (at least most men that I know of... help me out here z edge), it's different than the breasts, legs, hips, face, etc. -- probably because it stimulates more of a pure sexual arousal, first thru the anticipation of its unveiling as the panties are sliding off... and well, you know what I mean guys, it's not the most beautiful feature of the female body, I think it's more of a sub-conscious thing blah blah blah... As far as male and female genitalia, I don't think either of them are all that attractive, but if the looks of our genitalia were really important, we'd all walk around clothed from the waist up only.

The reason for bringing up being a Feminist was two-fold.

1. I wanted to identify myself as what I am and my point of view.

2. I wanted to use that preface in case someone immaturely retorted to me: "Yeah - well you're a feminist! You all don't even like men, really! You all would never go near a penis if you didn't have to!!" Of course, for some of the more radical feminists, this is the case. In mine, it is not.

I find the penis attractive. Let me qualify that by agreeing with mad1?s little ditty ? I don?t want to just see it whipped out at every venue and opportunity. [This is probably why male strip joints are not on every corner next to the female strip clubs.]

There is something very alluring about the power of the penis. I have seen the most unassuming ones fulfill the merest hint of what they can be. The attractiveness isn?t all in it?s physical appearance though. Are we limited to that in our answer?

I am really in to how things feel ? the penis is a very tactile thing. The skin (usually softer than the rest of the body) over the strength of the underlying biological happenings. Didn?t Freud say women have penis envy?

I also find the male nude very alluring overall. I would much rather look at a male nude than a female ? but it would always depend on the particular nudes, now wouldn?t it?

It?s rather like comparing apples and bananas. So, yes, in general, I do find attractiveness in the penis.

Nope I have no attraction to that particular area of the male but there are better attributes to to be attracted to. I remember Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 saying that guys just look stupid when they're naked, I think that's the thoughts of a lot of people. By the way, I find vaginas to be very attractive. Especially if the woman takes good care of that area. I never had a problem with any sort of smell. I don't think I'd care anyway. Thanks for all of your input, especially, YellowKite. I think in regard to the penis being attractive, men are kind of in the dark about that. I mean, I'm not gay and I haven't seen too many penises. I've seen more in the movies and tv than in real life. One thing that's weird, when I watch porn, I'd rather see a woman with a man than with another woman. I like to see the woman getting it good.
Bottom Line though: If you're with someone you care about, it should all look attractive.
