Useless Loop? Yeah, we gotta go there. Australia/NZ really have the best locations.
My day was great just because the cool change finally rocked up! How about you? Things colder in Adelaide now too?

I'd love to know how it acquired the name of Useless Loop. I still think Maori names are the best for unintentional hilarity though. How about the Northland town of Waipu? I saw its Wikipedia page was recently vandalised with "Waipu when you can pee".

If we ever do a Desert Island tournament on B&C where we use just one band rather than one song per band, I'll submit that for PT. I especially love how well the final four tracks work. Pure Narcotic/Trains/Waiting/Fadeaway.

Oh, the U2 rarities CD is great ... talk about a trip down memory lane! It's amazing to hear some of these songs again, after so long. The Pride single b-sides are just divine to listen to again It got me thinking, that .. personally .. this is when U2 sounded their best. Unforgettable Fire period
I second this entirely. U2 will never top the UF period.

Yeah, wasn't too bad a day, much cooler than it has been, which was just awesome.

Waipu is pretty good, but what about Kickapoo in the States? Not that I'm making fun of the Kickapoo people here, of course.

Personally, I would not consider this a bad thing.
