WinDVD or PowerDVD for WinXP?

Well, I have both and use both...

basically they're much of a muchness, all the usual features, Dolby Pro Logic etc...

In my opinion WinDVD is better for playing avi files, so if you dl movies thats probably the best one.

Apart from that I'm not sure if there's much difference between them?

Well, I have PowerDVD, and I've never had a complaint with it. I've never used WinDVD.

i have windvd and i've never had a problem with it. but, i've never used powerdvd.
