Willie Williams, Mark Fisher, and now Patrick Woodroofe

I may be the only one here interested in stage design, but then again I may not be. I have been in contact in the past with both Mark Fisher (stage design for U2 the Stones, Pink Floyd etc.) and Willie Williams (U2 stage, video and lights, REM etc.) and now I have heard from Patrick Woodroofe.

Patrick Woodroofe has designed many lighting schemes for numerous bands (Stones, Depeche Mode etc.) and is quite talented.

The thing is he has worked with Fisher, and Fisher has worked with Williams, but the three have never worked together.

Until now.

The three have designed the current Stones tour together with Fisher on the stage, Williams on the video, and Woodroofe on the lights. I think this is quite special and I think he seems to be a cool guy as he also has written me back via email when I inquired about the current tour.

Here is what he says:

Quote:
Thanks for your nice note.

Mark Fisher did indeed design the stage set. We are just updating my website
to include some of the Stones material so feel free to visit there at
patrickwoodroffe.com

Best wishes,

Patrick Woodroffe
All three have websites, and all of them have some pretty great photos.
