William Shatner's "Has Been"

I'm tempted to buy this, because I love Ben Folds and anything he's involved with, and also I REALLY love the cover of "Common People" that Shatner did for the album. My question is, does anyone have it? Is it worth owning as anything other than a novelty item? The reviews from Amazon and the Onion were actually pretty good.
