William Orbit moves from U2 to... Britney Spears?

"British tabloids following Spears on a recent London trip linked her with producers William Orbit, Guy Chambers, and Shep Soloman."
from MTV.com

So U2 will be sharing producers with Britney Spears...hmmm... I don't know quite what to say about all this, so I'll just leave you with hmmm.

Yah gotta remember that Orbit also worked with Madonna. So it makes sense since Britney is being seen as the next Madonna.

If I was a producer and Britney Spears asked me to produce, I'd have a hard time saying no

William Orbit is a talented musician in his own right, so just because he's dealing with the likes of Britney Spears doesn't mean that his work is bad. I think his addition to U2 is quite a pleasant thought.

He's also worked with Blur, The Cure, Peter Gabriel, and Depeche Mode.

Britney Spears is talented, too. Its the industry that sucks, not her especially, imho.

William Orbit is a fine producer, hes been working on hundreds of projects.
