I always had my doubts whether or not they were really improvising or not. Some of it just seemed so staged...

I think it was because of the fact they recorded so many takes of a singular episode that it looked staged from time to time

I enjoyed both the British version and the US version, although I got tired of the musical numbers - definitely my least favorite bit that they did.

Agreed. They got boring after a while.

Things as simple as "Scenes from a hat" or "Props" were hilarious.
