Geez - this is a hard question for me!! I just realized that most of my favorite music comes from groups rather than a single artist!

Well, I'm going to see Sting and Annie Lennox tomorrow night, so they certainly count, but I don't know about anyone else. I'm just drawing a big blank right now.

Morrissey or Robyn Hitchcock. This is not to say that I like Robyn with the Egyptians less, it's just that he has solo work and he's one of my favourite artists...well, I think you knew what I meant anyway.

People who haven't been mentioned:

Paul Kelly
Stevie Wonder (his good period)

And only one mention of Bob Dylan? Shame!

I think the vast majority of my CDs are from bands, not solo artists - with them, I mostly got Best of CDs.

Sheryl Crow - 2 CDs and Bruce Springsteen - all of his most known work.

not sure... may be Beck Hansen..

i dont quite like the idea of not naming a group...

infact i dislike bringing out music branded as your "Passport name"

At the moment? I'm going to have to go with Ani Difranco.
