Robin Williams is my favorite comedian. I think he's absolutely hilarious.

I also like...

Ray Romano
Chris Rock
Steve Martin (can't believe nobody's mentioned him yet)
Bill Murray
Bill Cosby (love his "Bill Cosby-Himself" routine...my mom and I quote things from that stand up bit all the time)
Chris Farley
David Spade (David Spade and Chris Farley together were pure classic)

Bono's shades, you mentioned Dana Carvey-I saw a stand up routine of his one time...good lord, tears were coming out of my eyes, I was laughing so hard!

Angela

and then you find humour in the most unexpected places...Norah Jones' drummer.
I watched a concert of hers on TV last weekend, and it was the best, biggest most enjoyable laugh I have had in ages. I enjoyed it so much.
He was playing much too loudly(imho), with his big dongers ( we had a debate over whether "donger" is a musical term..I think it is.) In the next song he was playing with his hands," dongerless" so as to speak.
Hub reckons someone heard me complaining.....tee hee, hahahaha. wipe the tears away
ha ha
ha

So that is my favourite humour, the spontaneous stuff, that just develops out of nowhere.

PS: I couldn't find it in the dictionary, but I'm not yielding yet.At primary school we definitely donged the xylophone with dongers...at least I thought that's what they were called.
