Who's is your favorite painter!

ivan aivazovsky. russian painter, lived from 1817-1900. painted a lot of boats and a lot of seascape-type pictures. he painted during a time period where it was popular for russian painters to go to other parts of europe (namely italy) and study.

Favorite painter:

Cujo - He paints pictures with his words and rhymes. A true artist.

Favorite Painter: Seurat.

Lots of dots... heavily influenced the way that I draw. I would put him and Dan Jurgens in the same esteem. They actually got me to shade in a completely different way, to give things a more smooth organic texture... as opposed to the traditional and mechanical method.

I loathe shading sticks.
