I don't keep journals. It just seems like I'm writing a large blackmailing of myself. Haven't done a thing like it in five years.

It will be less about myself than say influences and evolution of ideas. It would also document how I got into the industry which comic book fans would love. I love seeing ideas develop and change. I know others would love to see that in my work if I become famous.

What if you became famous for the wrong reasons? Like you kill a puppy on live television or something?

I'm just sayin'.

Well, I certainly don't mean an autobiography. That I could do if it was called for. A journal, I take it, is a day to day thing that you write in to blurt it all out. An autobiography is a summary of your story.

Is that a form of superthreaditis?

Hope you feel ok.

I now have to wait for an appointment with a specialist, which could be ages away. It's a chronic condition I've had for years - it was only now that I found a doctor who took me seriously rather than saying "oh, everyone produces mucus, just take some hayfever tablets and that'll clear it right up!" Turns out hayfever tablets are of absolutely no use whatsoever! Thanks, other doctors!

So how've you guys been doing? I've gotta go again in a few to clean up the mess I left in my room.

My plan for the weekend:

My parents and brothers are going to the Jersey shore tomorrow night, and I'm staying behind. I'm sleeping over at my one buddy's house tomorrow night, and then early Saturday morning, he and I are meeting up with another buddy who has a shore house in Delaware, and we're spending three days there. I'll be back Monday night.

I don't think I am interesting enough for a biography.

I look at it more as a behind the scenes journal so I don't forget anything interesting. It would be like U2 by U2 except without the revisionist history.

So, I'm sitting in my cafeteria at school today, and there's a TV on in the corner that you can't here, and it's kind of just there in the background. Then, this new iTunes commercial comes on, and I look at it for five seconds and realize Chris Martin is mocking Bono's iTunes commercials. But wait ... there's the rest of Coldplay. And it looks like they're serious. And it turns out they are.

Viva La Vida!

Mmm, more fodder for EYKIW.

I think your whole idea of this journal thing is kind of jumping the gun, but I do wish you good luck in this venture.

I'm not sure how it sounds, I couldn't hear it. Probably funnier watching it. Martin trying way too hard is funny to watch.

I think I'd like Coldplay ten times more if Martin didn't try the falsetto all the time.

Come on, mocking Bono?

I laugh at how many people think of U2 when Coldplay comes on. I just don't see it.

I swear, first time I've ever made a connection between the two. I never thought they sounded anything alike in anyway. But watching that commercial, seeing him do the iTunes performance thing, it was kind of like a "Oh, now I kind of see that" moment.

Have you listened to A Rush Of Blood To The Head yet? That's their best album by far.

I've been incredibly busy lately and haven't had time to try any new music.

I've got three lined up next:

The Will to Death - John Frusciante
A Rush of Blood to the Head - Coldplay
In Absentia - Porcupine Tree

And many more to follow that. Fuck, all of my pacing has ceased recently. Damn school.

:shifty:

I need lunch. But I can't be bothered making anything, and it's too cold to go outside and buy something.

I may just go and drum for a while.

Looked like just another iTunes commercial to me. There have certainly been enough of them.

Re. Coldplay:
The only time I ever was like, wow they're the same group was the first time I heard Speed of Sound. I really did think it was a U2 song I just didn't know.

And I will listen to the Rising momentarily

You mean this?

YouTube - COLDPLAY NEW ITUNES AD! VIVA LA VIDA! HQ

First time I saw it, I just laughed and laughed. Trying too hard to emulate U2 much?
