Who likes Kasabian?

Just got there album after seeing them at Glastonbury & T-in-the Park and its pretty good. Its got a kinda Radiohead/Prodigy mix thing going on there. Kinda reminds me of Mofo/Pop era U2. Anyone else like this stuff?

I was listening to this record on the way home today and remembering how much I enjoyed seeing them.

Oh yeah, and the concert was in a small place that had maybe 300 people in it.

They're one of the better bands to come out in the past couple of years in my opinion. It seems like they've got some real potential and I hope that they can keep it together. Their set from Glasto was amazing - Club Foot live

They've released a live show from Brixton Academy for download. It can be found at: http://www.warchildmusic.com/
Haven't had a chance to check it out yet though!

BTW - where is the aforementioned "band index"???
The fact that free members can't use the "search" facility kinda makes it hard to locate older threads - who has time to trawl though pages and pages of stuff!

EDIT: thanks Martha!

The band index is the fourth thread down on the B&C page. It says "Band Index" right in the title.

You don't even need to pony up to read it.

I think their new single "Empire" is the worst song ever written. What do you think??

I would have to disagree with you, Karls77

I think it's quite good. Took me a few times through for it to grow on me... but now it's on continual repeat

Take a look at the video... http://www.kasabian.co.uk/home/
