Who Else Have You Seen?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
heres my list from last year 04' since i dont feel like countingn all of my shows...

David Bowie(2)
Bruce Springsteen (vote for change) (2 time overall)
John Fogerty (2)(vote for change and with his band)
REM
Eric Clapton (2nd time overall)
Dave Matthews Band (4th time overall)
Blues Traveler

The list is too long since I've been around awhile......

But two worth mentioning in the last year

Daniel Lanois (at the local honky tonk, no less)

and

Coachella Valley Music Festival, probably the best in the world now

Ok, I'd never remember all of em, and my tix stubs scrap books are home and I'm at work, so I'll just recap some of the bigger names:
U2 16x
Pearl Jam 14x
Bruce Springsteen 8x
Van Halen 9x
DLR 2x
Sammy Hagar 2x
Aerosmith 10x
Rolling Stones 6x
Keef Richards solo
The Who 9x
Pete Townshend solo
The Clash
Robert Plant 4x
Page and Plant
Guns n Roses 5x (4 Slash, 1 Buckethead)
Metallica 4x
Motley Crue 9x
Def Leppard 3x
Kiss 9x
Ratt 3x
Scorpions 6x
Chili Peppers 4x
Ramones 3x
Cheap Trick 5x
Soundgarden 2x

REM 5x
INXS 2x
Bon Jovi 5x

There's lots more but thats what I can pull outta my head right now.

Mad props to all the people who confessed to shows like New Kids on the Block and Tiffany. All my list does is remind me that I've seen some really crap people in concert, in addition to the good ones:

Kiss (1976 or 77)
Shaun Cassidy (oh yes!)
Bay City Rollers (hey, I was 8, and they rocked!)
The Who
Van Halen (with David Lee Roth and also with Sammy Hagar later on)
Aerosmith
Motley Crue
Ozzy Osbourne (Let me just interject here that I was a pre-teen metalhead.)
Bruce Springsteen (11 times)
U2 (loads of times)
The Grateful Dead (I don't dare to count how many times)
Jimmy Buffet (more than 10 times but less than 20... and I say that more to clear the air than out of pride at the fact.)
Dan Fogelberg
Peter, Paul and Mary
Barry Manilow
Bette Midler
Neil Diamond
John Denver (um, I live in Colorado.)
Poison (Warrant opened so I won't count them separately.)
New Order (Crap.)
Depeche Mode
PiL (Double crap.)
The Sugarcubes
Ziggy Marley & the Melody Makers
Duran Duran (1984)
Power Station
The B-52s
Metallica
The Hooters (what an unfortunate name...)
Megadeth
Guns N Roses
Peter Murphy
Gordon Lightfoot (I did this to impress a guy.)
Love & Rockets
The Samples (I think they were just a Colorado thing, though.)
Burning Spear
Third World
The Rolling Stones (4 times! And I'm not even a big fan!)
The Dixie Chicks (Warning: here comes my country phase...)
Brooks & Dunn
Reba McIntyre
Leann Rimes
Chris Ledoux
George Strait
Tim McGraw
Faith Hill
Toby Keith (of which, I am now deeply ashamed)
Elton John
The Monkees, ca. 1986 or 1987??
Sting
The Fixx
Frankie Goes to Hollywood
Madonna (1985)
Journey
Eric Clapton (8 times)

Stevie Ray Vaughan
No Doubt
Red Hot Chili Peppers (w/Snoop Dogg!)

Cranberries
Sonic Youth
Hole
David Bowie
Indigo Girls (6 times. I like them. They're like the Dead -- they do a different show every night.)
Phish
Barenaked Ladies
Pearl Jam
Soundgarden
many a Warped Tour
many a Lilith Fair... okay, two years in a row

The worst artist I've ever seen in concert: Michael Bolton and Kenny G. I had this friend who was all into Kenny G. back in like 1989, and took her for her birthday. That's above and beyond the call of duty for a friendship, I think.

what I can recall off the top of my frozen brain... there's more than this tho...
  • uh..Boston Symphony Orchestra, repeatedly

  • Lostprophets
  • Bruce Springsteen (at FENWAY PARK!!!)
  • WASP
  • Metal Church
  • Accept
  • Clannad
  • Great Big Sea
  • Black 47
  • Lea DeLaria

if my mom posted here, this would be the part of her list titled "shows IWB has dragged me to". in my defense, i only actually dragged her to one of these shows (and i think that's pretty obvious). she enjoyed all the others (and was more psyched about REM than i was, actually), and i dragged my little brother along to that one too. hahaha.

anyway...

-barenaked ladies - opening act: the beautiful south
-live & counting crows - opening act: galactic
-barenaked ladies - opening act: chantel long-ass-name-starts-with-a-k
-enter the haggis (this was at a scottish festival...my mom's always complaining we can't find anything to do as a family...so i said let's all go to this scottish festival...of course, my sister stayed at home)
-barenaked ladies - opening acts: butterly boucher & gavin degraw
-dropkick murphys - opening acts: pug uglies & gang green
-gaelic storm
-enter the haggis (same scottish festival, different year)
-REM - opening act: mclusky (or however you spell it)
-(a few local bands at "taste of [town name]"s and similar festivals)

and in may, U2 will be added to this list.
