Im looking for beaches in Europe that is smiliar to the ones oin Maldives and Thailand. I was in Menorca last year and found some real white beaches with blue crystal water. Also Nissi beach in Cypress.

Anyone here know any place in Europe?

I don't think you can go wrong with beaches in the Mediterranean, since the sound of the waves hitting the shore are in a higher key, and they're able to sustain the notes for a longer period of time. It's a blissful marriage of sun, sand, and perfect pitch. I'm sure you'd love it.

I admit, I did a little :eyebrow: when I first saw the title.

Oh geez, someone is little overly PC aren't they ?

I mean, if he had said "whites only beaches" rather than "white beaches", you'd be on to something.

The reaction was because this thread was started in FYM, so the title was a bit misleading if you put it into a political context.

I like the island of Rømø on the west coast of Denmark very much. It might not be able to compete with beaches in the Mediterranean, but still it's a gorgeous place.

Blackpool has the nicest and cleanest beach in Europe, if not the world.

I found two ....
