I know people who had sex on the first date and ended up happily married...I know others who abstained until marriage and broke up in a matter of months. There is no cut and dry answer to how long anyone should wait. If the sparks are there on the first date and both are in agreement, go for it.

On the other hand, even after 5 or 6 dates, no one should feel obligated to have sex just because they've been on 5 or 6 dates.
