alright the formatting is a little off but i'm not up on the language. it seems he went from the bruins to the rangers and then right back to the bruins.
why does every kid from toronto always score their 1st goal against toronto or have their most successful games against toronto-this is not a good trend because a lot of canadian's play in the nhl and lots of canadian's are from toronto.

Yeah, thats HIS NAME! Maurice Bernard! He was my room mate's best friend, the room mate I had back in 1989. I was not as impressed...but I guess he's still real popular amongst the soap opera fans?

Charlie Daniels
Peter Frampton
Steve Winwood
Jimmy Buffet
Jon Bon Jovi
Faith Hill
Anthony Keades (from the Peppers - on the way back from Slane lol)
I met all the guys in Megadeth when they were here at a recording studio - can you believe they recorded in Nashville?
Peter Buck (from REM)

woah id love to meet pavel bure, i waited for him after the game in 93 in winnipeg, but he ducked out of everyones reach by taking a door that we didnt see.

but i have seen the following,

1. kevin garnett. yup, thats right. in a mall in minn., cept it wasnt mall omerica. well that was cool, we said something, but he had two bodyguards who looked as if i wanted to rape him or something. so we left.

2. the same day, about two hours after we saw kg... we run into derek jeter, and a whole bunch of yankees, and got their autographs. all of this before the u2 concert, the same day!

i saw alot of cool people on may 1 of 2001.

when i was a journalist, khari jones and dave donaldson came to my town for something and i talked with them for about 10 minutes and took pictures, and what not. very classy guys. those btw, are cfl players, jones being a cfl mvp, whether he won it this year or not, i do not know.

thats about it for now, i dont remember much more.

very cool to see all of you meeting so many celebs. its sometimes difficult for me to simply say to myself that "theyre only people, we make them too big in our minds."

As you surely all know by now I went to school with Nelly Furtado. I knew her (well just a tiny bit) BEFORE she was famous.

I met Lawrence Gowan some years ago. The Canucks may have heard of him. He is an extremely talented singer-songwriter-pianist, but unfortunately he has recently committed artistic suicide by joining Styx. I actually met him at my local radio station before a concert he was playing at a club in town, which I should not have been able to get into because I was 16 (but an older looking 16). Get this: Larry and his manager PUT ME ON THE GUEST LIST so that I would have an easier time getting in. I got in. And it was an amazing show. And he saw me afterward and remembered my name. I almost died. I don't listen to his music a lot any more, at least not the last few years, but I will always remember him as an unbelievably nice person.

I can't think of anyone else famous or semi-famous, though I have a feeling there might be one or two I'm overlooking. Oh, I met David Malouf a couple of years ago. He's a great AUstralian writer. But not incredibly famous. And I met both Raffi and Fred Penner when I was little

Love was never a single emotion

Dallas Schoo
Jerry Seinfeld
Ellen DeGeneres
Andy Kindler
George Wallace...and other lesser known comedians
Peter Murphy (Bauhaus)
The Ramones
The Smithereens

(I worked at a local alternative radio station while I was dating the manager of our local Improv, so I met several well-known folks at that time!)

Hah! Which team does he play for now? I haven't followed hockey in a few years, but I know he was traded soon after they won the championship.

Ok here goes :

Got autographs from Larry and Edge, not much chitchat though.
Bono walked past me kind of fast.
Waved at Adam from afar.

Shook Dallas Schoo's hand in a bar. Ran into him in the hotel elevator the next day and was shocked speechless. Managed a weak hi during the entire 10 floor trip. Still regretting my brain shutdown on that one.

Got my pic taken with Baz Luhrmann, director of Moulin Rouge and super funny super sweet guy. I think I may have freaked him out a little because I really could not stop talking. My friend insists I didn't act like an idiot, but I know otherwise.

Also Judy Cornwell, but most people probably don't know who she is. British actress.

Oh and Rick Steves, the PBS travel show guy. He was pretty nice, not too talkative off camera though.

Oh gawd, bert reminded me of most of them with the sport thing.

Some members of the Bolshoi ballet
Some of the Royal ballet
Quite a few of the Sydney ballet, and some that were also in the Aus. Ballet
Michael O'Laughlin
Jude Bolton (absolutely lovely guy)
Actually, a lot of the swannies. Mick O'Laughlin is probably the most stuck up.
The woodies (I played tennis with them once thnx coach!!!) That is Mark Woodforde and Todd Woodbridge
Jimmy Connors and some other has been tennis player, famous but cant remember his name...
Stan Grant tehehe
Elle Macperson
Red Hot Chilli Peppers-they came up to the blue mountains once years ago and were having a bbq. I was walking past, they gave me this look as if to say we've been recognised, I gave them a look as if to say yeah I know who you all are...went on my merry way, then went swimming with them a bit after...nice guys, but dont ever go swimming with them.
I cant remember all of them, my dad knew a lot of famous folk, a lot of comedians etc. I only usually meet them through sheer fluke meetings, except for my dad.

Anyone else I dont think any of you o/s peeps would know of!
