I have never actually purchased a piece of furniture! Everything I have was given to me by family members. It's all used but I really don't mind.

No - our family doesn't do presents for Christmas any more, since we go on a vacation as a family instead of giving gifts.

The few presents that I do have to get, I'll probably end up buying in mid-November.

I don't do Christmas anymore. I give my son a check and a stocking with gift certificates and trinkets in it. I will buy some little ornaments and such while in Hawaii though.
