Obviously, no matter what happens, someone will be pissed/annoyed etc.

There is however a difference between 'what are you eating/drinking/looking at/etc RIGHT NOW thread' and 'whats your favorite......' threads. The latter doesnt usually have the stamina go on for hundreds and hundreds of posts. That's what I gather is what gets annoying for most here.
