I don't think Lennon had much to do with "Lovely Rita" (which makes me remember reading in the Anthology book that once, while he and Yoko were out to dinner, a violinist stopped at their table and played "Yesterday").

And I love most of them. Hard to pick a favorite. "Strawberry Fields Forever," maybe.

I must say, though, that I've always loved "Penny Lane" as well, and that's one of the first songs of theirs I remember hearing, so if I must choose...that'd probably be it.

And yet there's still so many other songs of theirs I love......
