JEM & the Holograms (I always liked the Misfits better, lol)
My Little Pony
Strawberry Shortcake
Ghostbusters
He-Man/She-Ra
coloring books

I had a wee bit of a tomboy streak in me, with the GB and He-Man stuff, lol I had a clip on pair of those red star earrings, too...I saw them at the mall one day when I was with my mom and begged her to get them for me.

I loved tassles or frayed ribbons (anything that resembled hair). I would imagine a beautiful woman attached to the "hair" and make up stories about her.

I still have 2 of them..teddy, who was on the end of my bed when i woke up Christmas morning 1965 and Johnny, a male doll received around the same time. (male dolls were rare back then, goodness knows where mum found him. (PS: u lot, he is male because of his head shape and hairstyle, he is not anatomically correct.Just thought I'd tell u that before u make the obvious jokes

)
btw teddy has no eyes and Johnny is missing an arm ;( An early incident with misplacing teddy and my grumpy maternal grandfather helped me overcome my fear of the dark, always grateful for that.
My sister and I played with hula hoops a lot,and had an old tractor tyre inner tube that gave us hours of fun for trampolining and in the lake.We made lots of cubby houses too.
Fiddle sticks, elastics, skipping games, ahhh it's all coming back now...thanks
