Hello,

A couple of years ago I actually made a tape with 'me' songs on it (this was before the existance of CD-R's). Lemme see if I can remember that tracklisting again...

Bob Dylan - Rainy Day Women #19 & 35 (those were the #'s, right?)
Lou Reed - Lisa Says
De Dijk - Als Ze Er Niet Is (a Dutch song)
Velvet Underground - Pale Blue Eyes
Jimi Hendrix Experience - 1983 (A Mermaid I Should Turn To Be) / Moon Turn The Tides... gently gently away
Pearl Jam - Alive
dEUS - Let Go
Bettie Serveert - Palomine
U2 - The First Time
Bob Marley - Acoustic Medley (off Songs Of Freedom)
De Kift - Brood (again a Dutch song)
The Scene - Open (another Dutch song)
Lou Reed - Magic & Loss

Hmm, I have to check that tape again for any missing tracks. And I have to think about some other songs not on that tape.

C ya!

Marty

Hmmm...right now, I have pretty short list.

One Place by Everything But The Girl
Beautiful Day and
Walk On by...duh

Full of Grace - Sarah McLachlan
Standing Outside A Broken Phonebooth blablabla... - Primitive Radiogods
Leaving On A Jet Plane - Chantal Kreviazukzukzuk

foray

Daughter-Pearl Jam

Everybody Hurts-REM

Yesterday, Hey Jude, The Long and Winding Road-The Beatles

Imagine-John Lennon

Angel, I Will Remember You-Sarah McLachlan

One, Bad, Walk On, Stuck

Thunder Road, Born To Run, Land Of Hope and Dreams, Promised Land, Reason To Believe-Bruce

 Magician maybe.

what a cool thread. Actually I should think of the songs I want to be played at my funeral. Being just out of a bootlegging session with Sula, at the moment I?d definitely include The Streets out of NewYearsConcert Dublin 1989. The mood at the start... I?d salsa in my grave.
