can you simply not get sick of, not necessarily ya fav song but one that no matter how many times u hear it, it still sounds fresh and cool and hyp and current and novel and attracts your attention

mine sadly is not a U2 song but Bowies ashes to ashes, I can?t imagine how many times I have heard it, but I still want to hear it and when I do still sounds good

put another way, what song do u not tire of?

latre ..

we know major tomsa junky strung out in heaven?

Hmmm...here's a couple of my picks:

Gas Panic-Oasis (I love the bassline, as well as the psychedelic endings on both studio and live versions)

Please-U2 (Once again, the bass steals the show here...although the live version doesn't have as much of a punch in the bass range as the studio, it has that solo by the Edge which is magnificent)

Anything off the Kid A album-Radiohead (The sonic atmosphere of this album is amazing...can't pick one song off it)

At the moment..

John Mayer - No Such Thing
Bryan Adams - 18 Til I Die (whole album)
Nickelback - How You Remind Me
Default - Deny
U2 - ISHFWILF

George Michael Freedom 90

Pink Floyd  : Comfortably Numb ( live from 1987 -1988 )

Madonna : The Power of goodbye

Mettalica : Whiskey in the jar

hmmm...

U2-One, New Years Day (and probably lots of others but I can't think right now...)

James Taylor-Sweet Baby James and Fire and Rain

Bob Dylan-Don't Think Twice, It's Alright

REM-Everybody Hurts

s'all I can think of at the moment...

U2 - WOWY, Pride, Bad, One (lots more actually, but these four in particular)

Simon and Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence, Bridge Over Troubled Water

Bruce Springsteen - Dancing in the Dark, Atlantic City, Badlands

The Beatles - Let It Be
