What should my next music purchases be?
I am paid Friday. After my payment of gasoline and broccoli, I will be going on a music buying binge Saturday.

I also highly recommend the new BoDeans. That's what I'm listening to right this minute.

I'll keep that in mind for the future but right now I'd prefer if people chose from the list above. Those are all CD's I really really need and I can't decide atm.

And I can choose only 3?
Well, then my choices are: U2 - October (buying a U2 album you don't have already is always fun and is compulsory ![]() The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced? (Jimi rocks! And you can't deny the brilliance of The Wind Cries Mary, Foxy Lady, Purple Haze, Hey Joe and May This Be Love) Pearl Jam - Ten (it's a cliche to say that this is their best, maybe most accessible is saying it better, but Alive alone is worth it) Runners-up (good, but not the chosen ones): The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's (great Beatles album, but I still have to buy that one too) Coldplay - Parachutes (very good debut, but another one that's still missing in my collection) U2 - The Joshua Tree (you know how good it is, but apparently you already have a copy) And think I can also recommend others, but most of them are also missing in my collection, so what's my opinion worth then? ![]() C ya! Definitely Urban Hymns. Second only to The Unforgettable Fire in pure refreshing greatness
![]() From that list, i'd also recommend Parachutes by Coldplay and WTSMG by Oasis, though imo Oasis's Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants is better (another of my favourite albums), produced by none other than Mark 'Spike' Stent of POP fame. |

Urban Hymns is my top pic or What's the Story Morning Glory.
Those two are pretty much my favorite non-U2 albums. |

I can't believe I'm the only one to vote for Led Zep IV.
What is wrong with you people?!?!? ![]() Carry on. ![]() Oh, if you don't have it already, I highly, highly, highly recommend that you get Wilco - A Ghost Is Born first, and then pick among these. And if you get John Mayer you have to send the rest of the money to me, as you will have proven yourself unable to responsibly spend your money. ![]() |
