That is some of the funniest shit i've seen in awhile probably because I dislike them so much it's not even funny. First of all what the hell is Ben Afleck doing in Hollywood ? This guy can't act if his life depended on it. He looks like he is struggling to remember the lines. It shows you how much women can get suckered by a guys looks into believing that the guy is actually a good actor. J-Lo is only a bit better actor than Aflack but not by much. The good thing is that the word is coming out that the movie is this years Glitter.

Awesome article.

I would also like to see the alternate ending.

:lmao:

I like how no one showed up for the premiere except them.

If they'd just done the focus group before, I'll bet Hollywood would have fallen overthemselves trying to get in to see it.

I used to like Affleck in his indie days ...

i second that.

it's so weird to watch mallrats or even 200 cigarettes now that he's gone mr. hollywood.

j.lo's bad grammar annoys me. last week i was watching one of those 'entertainment' shows (i think it was ET) and she started a sentence with "we was...."

what the?!?

With an estimated production cost of $65Million, this is in Pluto Nash territory.

Well, they can alway look forward to the Gigli action figure sales. That should put them over the top.

Wow, this movie is getting some of the worst reviews I've ever seen! I hope this means the couple-from-hell will disappear from the public eye for a while - or preferably forever.

So long as JLo stops singing, I don't mind if she sticks around - the media fascination with her does annoy - and makes me wonder - is she really that admired?

exactly. i have no problems with her acting. i can't stand her voice. she really can't sing. it is all image. i will give her credit for her acting and dancing talents but the singing has got to go. however based on the bomb of this latest flick i guess this acting is not as stellar as most thought. but it should come to no surprise seeing how bad it had bombed with the test audiences.

Okay, falling into the fray. I am a fan of Ben Affleck, have been since "Chasing Amy" and have been loyal to him over the years, going so far as to see "Pearl Harbor" in the theater (of course I laughed the whole time, but I still paid my $7). Anyway, my friend and I did go to see "Gigli" this weekend fully expecting it to be a horrific car wreck and just enjoy the carnage. It so surpassed all of our expectations!! The movie is horrific, the directing poor, story has so many holes you could ride a plane through it and the dialog and accents are absurd. Basically, it was a laugh riot and I enjoyed the hell out of it!!
Oh, and Ben and J-Lo are totally going to break up so he can marry me!!!

I thought Jennifer Lopez was great in "Out of Sight" with George Clooney (IMO one of the sexiest couples of all time) and "Selena" before that. "If You Had My Love" was a pretty good song. Ever since she turned into the JLo monster she's been nothing but mediocre in everything she does and man why can't she just shut up about how "real" she is.

I liked Ben Affleck in some of his roles, mostly where he's not trying to be a Sir Macho Sexy leading man (sorry People magazine, but your boy has all the sex appeal of cold pizza leftovers).

I was a big fan of Ben Affleck, too. Ever since "Dogma" I guess, somewhere in there. I thought he was a sexy, funny guy who had a knack for picking lousy scripts.

But the J.Lo thing has just ruined him for me. I thought he was smarter than that. The game she's playing is just so obvious. Now he's forever tainted.

I heard today that J-Lo has dumped Affleck. Or is that old news? I dunno.

Yeah, I heard that today too.

I can't say I'm in any way surprised.

The whole thing reeked of "highly coordinated publicity stunt."

I loved Jiggly...very much!!!

I think it's a very steamy erotica flick...

waaait a second....
are we talking about adult porn?

Ben was in one of my favorite movies ever - Mallrats (my favorite Kevin Smith movie), and also was awesome in Chasing Amy. J.Lo should just stick to acting (in good movies) which she is pretty good at. NO more singing please.

So far Gigli has made 4.5 million dollars. The cost of production was 54 million and the cost of marketing was 22 million. The average per screen that Gigli is pulling in now is down to $140 bucks. The late night shows are being merciless towards this movie. It's kinda fun. :)
