She is a US R&B singer who had some hits. Her best-known number is probably Caught Out There (I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW!), although she also had some other nice singles. However, she is horrible live. Ask anyone who saw her opening for U2 this summer (at least in the Netherlands, but I think also in some other countries). You don't want to hear her live...
