What is your favorite fresh fruit?

Right now I have a craven for fresh strawberries, but will have to wait until April until shipments come from CA. or Florida.

There's this fruit in Japan called "nashi". It's like a cross between an apple and a pear. It's the freaking most delicious thing ever created by nature. I cant get enough of them. Sometimes I see them at grocery stores labeled as Asian Pears. I havent had one even half as tasty as the ones in Japan since I was there (4 yrs ago).

PS- If anyone here decides to try one, make sure when you pick them out that they're really firm like an apple. You dont want it mushy like a pear. Sometimes that can cause some confusion.
