What is this movie?

I can't remember the name of the movie or who is in it.

All I remember is one scene in particular. A man is standing on an elevator, looking dead tired, and these two kids run onto the elevator as the doors are closing. Both kids then start at the top of the elevator buttons and run their hands down causing all of the floors to light up. They both turn around looking at him (the camera) smiling brightly. Then it's a far away shot of the three of them in the elevator as it closes.


I cannot remember the scene before, after that or anything else.

I believe it was a movie made in the last 10 years, maybe even five years.

If memory serves, this movie is also a comedy.

It may have been Serendipity with John Cusack. A kid and his dad run into the elevator while Cusack is taking it to a certain floor, and the kid starts pushing all the buttons.

That sounds like The Weatherman. I've never seen it, but that happens in the trailer.

The man in the elevator is Nicolas Cage?

Actually I think PlaTheGreat is correct. Come to think of it, it is Weatherman. Thanks for the help guys. It was driving me nuts last night because I had that scene stuck in my head and couldn't figure anything else out about the movie.
