Jenn. Wow. Jenn. I could go on and on about her. I have never, ever been so satisfied with a relationship. I know I mention her quite a bit... but I don't care, you don't have to read this if you don't want to anyway. She's everything I've ever wanted in a girl. I mean, she's gorgeous, she's extremely intelligent, she has the best sense of humor I've ever encountered. At least suited to me. We're both offbeat... but in the same kinda way.

Today we went to a theme park, and the whole 13 hours with driving, we didn't stop talking. Stupid stuff, deep subject matter, we hit it all back and forth. I did get a good scare though. She's nearly passed out from the heat in line for a rollercoaster, so we had to sit down in the shade and she drank some water. Everything ended up OK. The day went on, and it was so great. There were no lines for any of the rides, so we rode everything we wanted to.

About half of the way through the day we stopped at this little cafe in the park, and we just sat there talking for an hour and a half, the deepest conversation we've had in a while. Then I started being goofy, and we just laughed. And laughed. We were so tired by 5 o'clock we left two hours earlier than planned, and went to go get some food, where we discussed religion over whoppers.

Dropping her off was really awkward, because neither of us really wanted me to go. We had the typical "good-bye" kiss, then as I was getting in my car, I stuck my head out the window, and the moment continued. Then we said "goodbye", "see ya", et al about 10 or 11 times, then I just started laughing and drove off.

I've been putting myself in situations with girls that weren't right for me at all for so long, just to avoid being lonely. But Jenn is so different. Also, she's much more comfortable with intimacy than most of the girls I've dated, and than myself. She doesn't try to pressure me into anything I'm not ready for. I've been there before, girls do pressure guys too.

Best of all, we have common ground, and the more time we spend together, the more I find. We had a discussion of Star Wars for about an hour tonight, then we moved on to Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan, and then to just people we knew, and life in general. I know I've been rambling on for a few paragraphs now, so let me go on to the list.

6. I have mended a friendship with an old girlfriend of mine, and things are much better than they have been in about 3 years.
7. I had a Blue Shock Slurpee tonight
8. I no longer drive an Escort... although my car is purple , it's not an escort
9. I've been getting a lot of work in lately, so I'll have more money to do stuff with Jenn and for new music, we're going to see a play sometime in the next few weeks
10. Lots more. Life is good right now.
