Do you preempt your alarm clock, I dont know why but no matter what time I set the damn thing I wake up before it goes off, usually by 2 minutes, set it to 6 get up at 5:55, set it at 10 get up at 9:58.

You are afraid of not hearing your alarm clock so your subconscient wakes you before. You may be too stressed... Are you ?

Not stressed, my blue crack addiction takes care of that

I developed the set waleup thing by doing a paper round for 3 years when I was a kid, guess it never shut off so to speak, can come in handy for long hikes.

Spiders, if they're the big black juicy ones, or huntsmans... *shudders* I'm about due another near-heart attack from discovering a huntsman whilst carting wood.

HHmm... was just plain fear of death on there? Or ws fear of death and dead things the only thing related to death? Cause I'm not fearful of dead things... only death really...

EDIT: I'm terrified of going outside at night alone... I start pleeding to my parents to not make me if they want me to go get somethin or somethin... then I get in trouble for saying no :( and then... I have to go out there anyway... and well... it just sucks :| Cause mixing sadness with fear... WHOA

I have five. :reject:

Arachnephobia- Fear of spiders
Aviophobia- Fear of flying (due to the claustrophobia)
Claustrophobia- Fear of confined spaces (My worst nightmare)
Dentophobia- Fear of dentists (I have to put under just to have my teeth cleaned.)
Molysmophobia- Fear of dirt or contamination (Germs/getting sick;I don't know if it falls under this or not)

clowns - shudders - I can't stand them - but the clown dolls are by far the worst
I saw Poltergeist at too young an age over at a friends house and that single movie has set up my most irrational fears
1. Closets are Demon Portal Entries to Hell - they must be closed at all times - this in non-negotiable.
2. TV's are never to be set on an open channel - you are simple asking for trouble.
3. Important to research house/apartment area that you will be living in - an mention of a cematary -end game
4. Clown dolls are just waiting for the opportunity to attack - best not to have them around.

height.... i really have a problem with that. Sometimes i dream that i fall and I wake up with my heart beating hard and everything. that sucks cuz i can't be in a high building: I start to feel my hands numb and I start to cry and feel anxious.

clowns... they are disgusting

Arachibutyrophobia- Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth

I saw this on the back of a Snapple cap the other day and thought about making an IO thread :|

awesome!

one of mine is on that list!

Spermatophobia or Spermophobia - Fear of sperm.

i'm too lazy to read it, someone tell me if 'fear of brindle' is on yertle's list. cos beli, you forgot to list it in the poll

really, i picked spiders. those things creep me the hell out. i picked something else, i think it was public speaking...

spiders, pain, lightening, being ridiculed, snakes and finally speaking in public

Worst case scenario:
I get hit by lightening I am in pain and too afraid to shout out to someone. As I am lying there spiders and snakes will crawl/creep by me. Afterwards in the hospital I will be ridiculed for being silly and not asking for help.
Yep, thats about right.:|

Mine isn't on there, I don't even know if there's a word for it, but I have a fear of hills, specifically driving on them. I get very anxious and queasy if I get stopped at a red light on a hill, I'm just convinced the car is going to go rolling backward. Needless to say, I do not now nor ever will live in San Francisco.

I'm deathly afraid of pigeons and even more so of whales.

But I voted for Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia because that's fucking funny.

Aviophobia.I have an extremely intense fear of flying, planes and all things related. That's why I can't possibly fly without taking Valium.

I couldn't even enjoy the only time I was upgraded to first class on a trip from Europe to S. America. :(

i still haven't had word on adding my brindle-phobia to the list...this great mole rat just isn't going to cut it

My fear of new things combined with my fear of being ridiculed is why I lurked for a long time around this place before I even registered. :reject:

did you come out of hiding when you realized that only lurkers are truly ridiculed?

it's way too late for me to be making sense...

I get a bit tense when I'm blowing up balloons. I don't make them very big :party pooper:

and I'm getting a bit of a thing about the :p smilie

that would go under fear of speaking in public:wink:

Ha! Actually, I'll speak in public or be part of a debate and love it (I live for that stuff), but I will not socialise with the people I'm talking to or debating. I sometimes border on sociophobia.

And I'm still not saying what my fear is! Besides the occasional sociophobia, I mean.
