the "naughties"...i.e., they used to say "ought 6" or "ought 8" at the beginning of the last century...so I heard someone say that we're in the "naughties." I thought it was cute. And appropriate.

I don't really call it anything...it all sounds funny. I guess I just call it "these days" or "the present"...I guess I'll just have to find a new name down the road.

I think this decade should be called something along the lines of "The Monomials", though that doesn't make ANY sense and is not convienient in ANY way.
