lets see here

april 2nd-the bob dylan show at the auditorium theatre in chicago

amos lee and merl haggard were respectable

dylans voice wasnt at its best on this night but a good show overall

may 12th-U2 at the United Center in chicago

one of the best concerts iv ever seen, great setlist, great performances

July 10th-Bob Dylan Show at Alexian Field in shaumberg

green cards and willie nelson entertaining enough

dylan was in much better form than my april show, great concert experience, good performances, on downside was he had to stop one song short because of curfew in shaumberg:angry:

Augost 7th-Bruce Springsteen at Bradley Center in Milwaukee

Different type of concert than im used to
very obscure setlist but great performances, bruce was in a good mood, very good show

and the rolling stones are coming up in september at soldier field

U2 - Boston, 24 May
[Wonderful concert, but the best was yet to come ...]

U2 - Boston, 26 May
[Absolutely SCORCHING, and I was front row! Probably the best of the Boston three from a U2-performance perspective.]

U2 - Boston, 28 May
[Probably my favourite of the three shows.]

Finn Brothers (with Mercury Rev opening) - Brisbane, 22 July
[Awesome concert, Mercury Rev were a stellar opener and the Finns were in incredible form. Hearing such superb performances of I Got You and Six Months In A Leaky Boat was worth the price of admission alone.]

U2 3 times
Bob Dylan and Merle Haggard
Kasabian (in a small OC club; fucking awesome)
Bruce Springsteen ( )
Groovie Ghoulies (friends of my good friends)
Beck (Le Tigre opened)

upcoming:
White Stripes Monday night
U2 three more times
maybe Dolly Parton? I'm thinking of getting a ticket.

It's been a very good year. :D

U2 4x (San Diego, Phoenix, Denver)
Bruce Springsteen (Denver)
Tori Amos (Denver)
Wilco (Albuquerque)

Ok, those all happened within like a 3 week period.

And now I've hit a dry spell.

But I've got Tori coming up again this Fall at Red Rocks as well as Lucinda Williams in Santa Fe, and am desperately searching for U2 3rd leg (Portland, Vegas or Chicago).

After that, I'm saving all my pennies to stalk Radiohead next year.

Would have seen the Drama Tour (Yes members), but the show was CANCELLED. And I had won those tickets as well

Maybe R. Plant if I can win tickets or find someone else who wants to go :( . I could have bought them for face value when they went on sale, but didn't feel like doing this one alone (although I did do Audioslave alone)

And now playing on the radio: "One"

I saw Winwood last year. Frickin' awesome! I go for the old stuff, Blind Faith, Traffic,...

Martha - come on - you only live once! Then again, waiting to find out from ebay-er what's happening...

I can't. Won't somebody think of the children?

On a different note, I got an email from either the venue or ticketbastard talking about the $38 tickets being on sale for 25% off. So give tb a try for tix.

And then don't tell me about it.

I have a kid too. Hopefully, grandma will be around to watch over the little one (she's 11).

I know nothing about cheap tix for Oasis, and I'm always searching TM as well as being signed up for emails about bands/tix on sale. Last time I check, they had section W, which is the very last section, probably last row.

I'm sorry you won't be able to go. I do understand your frustration though (I've missed some shows I wanted to see as well, and it sucks...)

BTW, where in S.Cal are you?

U2 in April twice (PHX)
Our Lady Peace and Billy Idol and Flogging Molly in July(BUF)

Will see......
U2 in Sept. (TOR)
Foo Fighters sometime this fall

how about U2 in minneapolis?

I'll be there!

The only concert I've seen so far this year is Willy Porter back in the spring (I'm too lazy to look up the date). I was supposed to see Elvis Costello a week ago tonight, but it got canceled. :( I'm thinking of going to see Robert Cray in a couple of weeks.
