might as well do this, i'm sure it's been done before but i don't think it's been done in some time.

U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name
I just love those cuts of people dancing to the music.
U2 - New Year's Day
One word - snow.
Elastica - Connection
It's very colourful, very art-project. Great visuals.
Manic Street Preachers - If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next
Most of their videos are crap, but this one's brilliant. It's very eerie and the concept is fantastic.
Manic Street Preachers - A Design For Life
Not as good as Tolerate, but you gotta love sloganeering.
Radiohead - Just
Just a brilliant concept, and very funny and thought provoking.
New Order - True Faith
It's just so weird and funny.
Coldplay - The Scientist
Just a lovely idea to a lovely song.
Blur - To The End
Because of the 'Last Year At Marienbad' influence.
Blur - Coffee & TV
Great idea, excellently pulled off.
Pulp - Common People
Loads of extras and Sadie Frost. Just very clever.
Satanicide - Jerzy Nites
http://www.satanicide.com . Genius.

Have you seen the video for "She Is Suffering"?

Electric Six - Gay Bar .... :lmao:

INXS - Elegantly Wasted ... Just a cool video

U2 - Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me ... I like the cartoonyness

U2 - Discotheque: This video took guts. lol.
U2 - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For: Great video, especially with the part with Bono doing the little hat dance. :D
Outkast - Miss Jackson: A hell of a lot better than most rap videos. Plus, the animals are cute. ;)
UNKLE feat. Thom Yorke - Rabbit In Your Headlights: Just a good video.
Beck - every video. Really.
White Stripes - Seven Nation Army: Recent, but hypnotizingly good, har har.

I'm sure there's loads more, but that's all I can think of for now.

I have a short memory. Tool make fantastic videos. Awesome fx. I think Pink's Family Portrait was wonderfully done. I think the music helps influence these choices though, as I only remember the ones of bands/songs I like.
I also love U2's WIWY it got me into U2 in the first place, and Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me for the same reasons as Squishy Peanut :D

dandy warhols - godless. ya i know you might find it boring, but i still like it. and ive only seen it once - three years ago!

radiohead - there there, street spirit, motion picture soundtrack.

u2 - until the end of the world

I have kind of a long list here...there's been lots of great videos I remember.

U2 videos:

-Discotheque (hilarious)
-Where The Streets Have No Name (I love how this video was filmed even while the police were trying to shut them down, it was all live and everything)
-I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (it's just cool to see them hanging out downtown and being all friendly with the passerby)
-One-all three versions (the drag one and the buffalo one are particularly interesting)
-Mysterious Ways (it's spastic and funky and weird)
-Numb (very odd)
-Lemon (again, odd)
-Stay (like the angels thing)
-Even Better Than The Real Thing (the images and the spinning and all that...just very interesting and creative)

Tom Petty videos:

-Don't Come Around Here No More (very twisted...yeah, I like weird videos)
-Mary Jane's Last Dance (creepy, but intriguing)

Miscellaneous ones:

-Closer-Nine Inch Nails (still say this is the most f*cked up video I've ever seen)
-Everybody Hurts-R.E.M. (very relatable)
-Thriller-Michael Jackson (I like the whole concept)
-Black Hole Sun-Soundgarden (bizarre and unique)
-Runaway Train-Soul Asylum (a great way to help a cause...this video needs more recognition, imo)
-One-Metallica (drives home a good point about the horrors of war)
-Right Now-Van Halen (makes you think)
-Loser-Beck (very amusing video...still curious as to why those girls are dancing in that cemetary, though......)
-Once In A Lifetime and Burning Down The House-Talking Heads (weird and creative and neat...I still say David Byrne's having a seizure in the Once In A Lifetime one. Either that, or he's actually a puppet being moved around by someone)
-Land Of Confusion-Genesis (brings back memories from my childhood)
-Sledgehammer-Peter Gabriel (same reason as Land Of Confusion)
-Jeremy-Pearl Jam (very creepy-Eddie Vedder looks psychotic in it...but it's a very important video, deals with the subject matter in a great way)

Okay, I'll stop there-that's my list for now.

The Bitter End - Placebo
Electrical Storm - U2
Yellow, Trouble - Coldplay
Ugly - Bubba Sparxxx
Don't Come Around Here No More - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Losing My Religion - R.E.M.
Hey Jupiter, Spark - Tori Amos

Dang. I don't really get to see many videos anymore, what with the M in MTV and the V in VH1 becoming meaningless. Those are just a few I've made a point to see or can remember seeing. I'm sure there are many more.

just a few favs I can think of...

U2 - where the streets have no name! (BRILLIANT!!! as said above)

Tori Amos - Winter (very cute)

Radiohead - There There (love it)

Coldplay - The Scientist (very moving)

Travis - Sing (food fight makes me laugh)

Alanis Morissette - Precious Illusions (clever idea)

The Police - Don't Stand So Close To Me (wish Sting was my teacher ;) )

Madness - Baggy Trousers (very funny!!!)

Shakespear's Sister - Stay (loved the dark scary woman)

A few others I love:

The majority of videos I like are usually just humorous ones or artsy fartsy:

The Avalanches - 'Frontier Psychiatrist'
Coldplay - 'Trouble'
Smashing Pumpkins - 'Tonight, Tonight'
U2 - 'Lemon'
Queens of the Stone Age - 'No One Knows'
Weezer - 'Buddy Holly' (anything with the Fonze in it rules)

POD - 'Boom'
Unkle - 'Rabbit In Your Headlights'

korn--freak on a leash (even though i don't really care for the song or the band, i thought it was pretty cool around the time it came out. haven't seen it in a while, so i can't really tell you what i'd think now)

the clash--rock the casbah (there is something really funny about that and i'm not entirely sure what it is...i think it's got something to do with the armadillo)

bad religion--new america ('the bad religion activity center' or whatever it's called. basically it's part band performance, part these two punk rock kids playing with bad religion action figures. the greg graffin doll pukes, jay bentley has guitar-smashing action, just funny stuff. comes with a home piercing, tattooing, and flyer-posting kits, and when you flip the stage around, it turns into the band's dressing room, bouncer and groupie sold seperatly :) )

u2--elevation & numb (for all the wrong reasons--read 'wrong reasons' to mean 'pleba reasons :reject: )

u2--please...i forgot that...that was really cool in an artsy sort of way

The Rolling Stones - "Love Is Strong"

Haha, now every time I think of that video I also think of the "Beavis and Butt-head" episode where they were watching that video, and Beavis started getting on this thing about the Stones stepping on ants and how ants have feelings and all that. Then Butt-head smacked Beavis, and Beavis couldn't remember what happened before he was smacked.

Yeah.

Um, anyway, yeah, "Please" is another good video I forgot to add. I also agree with those who mentioned "The Scientist".

And that Queens of the Stone Age video for "No One Knows" is funny...first time I saw it, I was like, "WTF?"

Ooh, another one I just thought of that I also like: Fatboy Slim's "Weapon Of Choice". I find Christopher Walken dancing around rather amusing.

.

Someone needs to bring that show back-Comedy Central should do it or something.

Imagine it-Beavis and Butt-head, and then South Park.

You're set for the next hour. :D.

It's just such an amusing video. Different from a lot of the other videos I was seeing on T.V. at the time, and I just got a kick out of it.

Yeah, IWasBored, Christopher Walken dances around in this video.

He's not that bad a dancer, either.
