and i'm not talking about music
well i mean music could be one of the things you're listening too, but this is not a thread about music.

what i mean is what sounds can you hear right now? sometimes silence is louder than you think

right now i can hear the birds chirping outside.
distant sounds of traffic from the street one block over.
the radio playing on the out door patio at the restaurant/brewery next door.
my keyboard as i type.
the phone ringing.
a car door closing outside.
my co-worker in the next room unpacking boxes.
the hum of the computer.

Today's conversation has been about how he wants to live like a male lion and have a pack of 8 females who bring him food while he sleeps in the sun all day
