In the spirit of New Year resolutions...I'll be hitting the local gym (at least for a couple days!)

What are the best songs to workout and exercise to??

Here's a few candidates that I can think of at the moment:
"Momma said knock you out" - LL Cool J
"Push it" - Static X
"Lose Yourself" - Eminem
"Number One" - Nelly
"It's Like That (remix)" - Run DMC
"Go" - Andy Hunter
"Worlds Collide" - Powerman 5000
"Unbelieveable" - UMF
Anything by DMX

My sister and I went to dance classes and some of the songs they played were:

Armand Van Helden - My My My
Eric Prydz - Call On Me
Plummet - Damaged
Deepest Blue - Give It Away
Jet - Are you gonna be my girl?

I think Mylo - Drop the Pressure is also a good workout tune

I am going to more dance classes at a dance studio in town..... with my parents, I don't think we'll sign up for the same classes though.

"Eye of the Tiger" (and the original "Rocky Theme" aka Gonna Fly Now)

I used to do an aerobic workout to the Talking Heads' "Stop Making Sense", because there were quite a few upbeat dance numbers on the disc. "Psycho Killer", "Life During Wartime", "Burning Down the House" and a few others have oddly effective beats that were excellent dancing material.

Anything upbeat, fast, angry, or rocking has served me well. You just need something to get you more fired up or more energized than you normally would be.

the go! team has a few songs for you.

new order's confusion :sexywink:

outkast - bombs over baghdad

Great! Keep 'em coming!

I was watching a re-run of a Family Guy episode last night in which they were talking about Richard Simmon's "Sweatin' to Books on Tape"!!!

Here's to a healthy new year!
