may I touch you?
As in, what are some good songs to listen to if you are angry.......
The anger can be towards anything........your boss, stupid people, relationships........whatever.
Any ideas?:hmm:

Tool is good. NIN also. Not to mention Slipknot. I have not hear there recent release Iowa BUT there are some good ones on the album before that (the name of which escapes me at the moment).

Nirvana's new song

most of the stuff off of NIN's Broken EP

and if you like numetal, there's always Break Stuff and Korn, etc.

Eminem's Kill You, The Way I am

and, if you like less aggressive music:
Radiohead "My Iron Lung"

my new fav mad song is

"people = shit"

by slipknot

they are truly repulsive and genius at the same time...

Stone Cold Crazy , Sheer Heart Attack - by Queen
Dirty Day - by U2
Paranoid , Push It - by Garbage
Anything by Sex Pistols .
Sorrow by Pink Floyd
Barrel of a Gun , it's no good - Depeche Mode

kudos the kid who mentioned my iron lung.

this song can be cranked when either in a really good or really bad mood.

get a live version of this song, ideally. its waaay better.

"The National Anthem" Radiohead
"Where Boys Fear to Tread" Smashing Pumpkins
"You Oughta Know" Alanis Morrissette
"Good Sister Bad Sister" Hole
"Professional Widow" Tori Amos
"Bullet the Blue Sky" U2 :bono:
"Limp" Fiona Apple
"Lithium" Nirvana
"Break on Through" the Doors

There are way more, but I'm not pissy right now so I can't think of them.

The first song that came to mind was "Testify" by Rage Against the Machine.

Here are some others....

"Revolution" by the Beatles.

"Political Science" by Randy Newman

"I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That" by Elton John

"Piece o' shit car": Adam Sandler

"Under Pressure": David Bowie and Queen

"The Payback": James Brown

"We're not Going to Take it": Twisted Sister

"Born in the USA": Springsteen

"War": Edwin Starr

"Gone": U2

Nightmares by the Sea - Jeff Buckley
"You know damn well where you will go!"

VAST - Pretty when You Cry

Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name of
"fuck you I won't do what you tell me"

"Rape Me" by Nirvana. Pretty much anything of In Utero, really. "Pennyroyal Tea", "Frances Farmer...", "Scentless Aprentice", "Heart-Shaped Box", et al.

I remember now why I could not remember the slipknot album. It is selftitled so there is not a "real" one so to speak. The song I was thinking of was/is called "surfacing". It is basically a song that flips the bird at the world I guess you could say. Here is the chorus to give you an idea.

Contains a small amount of profanity so cover your eyes if you are sensitive an scroll past this next part.

FUCK IT ALL! FUCK THIS WORLD!
FUCK EVERYTHING THAT YOU STAND FOR!
DON'T BELONG! DON'T EXIST!
DON'T GIVE A SHIT!
DON'T EVER JUDGE ME!

HELL YEAH!!

This is MY ultimate angry song. And screaming along to 'fuck you i won't do what you tell me' feels sooooo good when you're pissed off.

And the song just kicks ass anyway....

Tame - by Pixies. You just cannot resist screaming along with Black Francis. he's great at screaming.

A lot of Pj Harvey songs. Raw emotion.

Pumpkins are great aswell as others have mentioned...

that's all I can think of on the top of my head.

Dogs , Pigs ( three different ones ) , by Pink Floyd
Anything from KID A and Amnesiac two sad masterpieces by Radiohead .

Failure....by Skinny.

Its a good, 'Im-fuked-off-today-so-get-the-fuk-off-my-tits' type record. A good 'throw ur head at ur boss' type song. A song tat u should play when ur office environment feels grey and everyone is walkin round like chimps with their chins hittin the floor.......I find it a good 'Im fuked off' record.....

yes, its an angry record but casually done............

Play it thru the 'phones next time in work and when ur boss passes u...careful u DONT laugh out loud!!!

I know I would, but then, Im :coocoo:

:D

Soundgarden

Anything by them...it's not angry lyrics, but the music is so loud and angry...I love it and I feel better right away.
