Something about this band always rubbed me the wrong way...

but I admit to loving some of there singles.

My Hero and Walking After You

All My Life is an awesome song, but it's not on that album.

All Apologies is an awesome song, but it's not on that album either.

First Foos album: Amazing
Second album: Very Good
Subsequent albums: Not so much.

These guys have become more and more generic with each passing year.

Well a fortune cookie told me your mom is generic, Lazarus. IN BED.

This is kinda cool. Foo Fighters with dude from System of a Down singing covering Dead Kennedy's.

Some great songs on this one, and also some crap.

Perfect? No.

A few good songs, but too meat-and-potatoes for my liking.

A couple of good songs on there for sure, but not perfect. I can't stand Dave Grohl though, so that doesnt help my verdict.

I think Aurora is on this one. I like that song.

I'm the same as others above - I like some of their songs a lot, and others I could care less about.

I could make an excellent single disc compilation of their best stuff, however. That would be sweet.

FOO MEMORIES

They were probably the only band I listened to when I was 14.

And their debut is the best.

I think The Colour and the Shape is their best effort and while I think they rock in general, they've gotten a little generic for me.

But Everlong wins at life. As does Monkey Wrench.

Everlong is probably the best Foo song AND video but check this tracklist out guys...

stacked actors
breakout
learn to fly
gimme stitches
generator
aurora
live-in skin
next year
headwires
ain't it the life
MIA

Not a single bad or even mediocre song in there! I love all those songs!

.... that's debatable.

(er, I mean the part about no mediocre songs ... not that you love it. I'm sure you love it. )
