I figured out how to go from iTunes into WMP but not vice-versa

I don't think you can convert AAC to .wma files :shrug:

it's best to exclusively use iTunes, it's the easiest one to use especially if you have an iPod and listen to music regularly IMO

All my music is on iTunes except for this one song
