It's funny, Don Cherry, on HNIC last night, was just going off on how bad this series was. He was saying it's "deadly" hockey - as in it's "killing" the game, because it's "deadly hockey to watch." He said there's no hitting whatsoever (which is true), and last coaches corner called it "excuse me" hockey . He can't believe this kind of hockey is being played in the 3rd round! For once, I might actually have to force myself to agree with Don Cherry (yikes).

Here's the link to the coaches corner in which he calls it "deadly" hockey to watch:

just because there isnt a canadian team in the series doesnt mean its not exciting

this is a different kind of exciting, knowing 1 mistake, letting in 1 bad goal will probably mean a loss

its a lot like a soccer game, and thats the most popular sport in the world

Hey Hey Hey...

Sorry, I lost my train of thought. I know, maybe some spring-cleaning will jog my memory. I'll just go get the broom .

Minnesota has played some decent hockey... but like I've said before Anaheim doesn't make many (if any) mistakes. So, a team like the defensive Wild who thrive on a "passive" closed-game would have a great deal of trouble scoring against Anaheim... no matter who's between the pipes.

Congratulations Giguere... save some for later though man.

There was a sign in the arena last night that ESPN showed...It summed everything up:

Sorry Minnesota, Cinderella lives in Anaheim.

The wheels must have fallen off the bandwagon in Minnesota - Lilly has posted about the same amount as the Wild has scored. And Lemon Meregue - well, she has posted here in the last 48 hours.

Who'd have thought that the Ducks would be one game from the Cup finals?

I think that whoever wins in the East will win the Cup, though.

Let's hope. Disney already owns too much.

*Wonders if Mickey Mouse's name would be added to Lord Stanley's Cup if Anaheim wins

Out trapping the trap!!! For the good of the game, will these two teams vanish of the face of the Earth? Nothing against their fans (hugs for Zoni ), but this isn't hockey, it's soccer!! If I wanted to watch soccer, I'd watch soccer. I like soccer, but I like(d) hockey for *much* different reasons.
