I'm not a Nickelback fan, and I don't think there are many of them here, but I gotta say that I feel a bit sorry for them. I'd be pretty bummed out to go out on stage, try to perform a show, and have the audience not even want to be bothered by my performance. It's kind of disrespectful.

i agree with you bonochick. unfortunately, here in portugal it was not the first time that such a situation happened; 3 or 4 years ago, oasis were also forced to leave the stage in a summer festival because some animals there were not able to wait for their band (guano monkies or something) and stone them 'till the drummer got injured. I was one of the few there enjoying oasis, but obviously no one cared with that.

the warped tour crowd in brockton, mass got icp-ripoff crap twizted to leave the stage 10 minutes before their set ended, by throwing dirt-filled bottles at them 
you don't put a clown-rap group on stage at a primarily 'punk' festival right before dropkick murphys, not when you're that close to boston anyway.
