With the issuance of, yes, another Winter Storm Watch, the radio station is playing Christmas music.................I may have to hurt someone

I do have say that seeing U23D yesterday has helped me accept this forecast a little better.............U2 is a great pick me up for the winter blahs.

But now it seems I have done something to my back because I can't sit up without pain .

All I did was bend over to clean up after the cat

I want to go to Ireland again I'll probably never be able to afford anything with what I make now

I think I'm going to go see U2 3d again this week on my day off. I passed the theater the other day and think I can find it again.

And Shari....everytime I think of you everytime I step outside or hear the birds chirp. I'm living in summer right now and loving it

Adventures by Disney tour - I leave July 25th and get back August 3rd.

As for the back, Advil and a heating pad. Lying flat on my back in bed seems to be the best position. Thank goodness for the laptop so I don't have to go without the internet during the Oscars

eta: Getting up out of bed is proving to be a problem

It's nice in the spring, too, but I really enjoyed the sun coming up at 4 am and not setting until 11 pm. That was very nice. I think that's why I like Indiana's insistence (sp?) on staying on Eastern time when it should be Central; the sun stays up until nearly 10 pm in June.

4 a.m.

Oh well, more time to sight see I guess

My back is better today. I stayed home from work though because the idea of sitting at a desk today didn't appeal to my back muscles.

The Icy Hot back patch is the best thing ever

my sister's boyfriend and I just dropped off my parents and brother at the airport. It was hectic with them here so I'm a little relieved they're gone. But at the same time having them here really made last week easier on me. It's going to be so different now that they're gone. My mom woke up today to see me off to the car and insisted on giving me money. I didn't want to take it but she wouldn't take it back. Then she hugged me about 20 times from the time we left the house until the time we got to the airport. I think she's going to have a tough time once she gets home.

When you have back problems, the worst position is sitting. Either lay down or stand. Back in '92, we had just moved to this house, and I don't know what happened, but one day my back started to hurt. I thought it would just go away, but it got worse. And I was supposed to travel by plane for a family wedding within 2 weeks. So we found an orthopedic doctor (we were new in the area, and this doctor was a block away). I thought about walking, but we ending up driving (sitting). I remember getting there and he asked me to bend. I was standing up, and said, this is it. I can't remember the diagnosis, but I most have pulled something or slipped something (a disc?), but he said stand or lay (preferrably lay) and make sure to bend properly when doing so (at the knees). And anything that was too low should be re-arranged to limit me having to bend. Needless to say, I didn't fly to Oregon for the wedding (ate that ticket ) and eventually it got better. Haven't had a problem like that since. Maybe it was just a sign not to go to my brother-in-law's wedding. His wife is a BEEEEATCH!

I'm jealous of all you travellers!

Yeah, it made me feel like we were always oversleeping but it's SO much easier to get up after like 3 hours of sleep when the sun is out!

I hope your back feels better! be careful!
