Well, I think Neon Bible carries that emotional edge even better. I think they've progressed and will continue to do so.

But yeah, these are minor details. Both records are fantastic.

Especially when it first came out. It wasn't as bad as the hype for HTDAAB, nor was the dropoff in interest as noticeable, but it didn't help.

I've always thought it was about a B or so. Better live.

My problem with Neon Bible was people went crazy over it and made it so overrated that it became hard to appreciate it.

I can definitely agree with these statements.

However, I don't let a forum or other people's comments determine how good an album is.

Ok, now I'm gonna go eat for real.

Alright. Starting Funeral.

The only songs I'd purchased on iTunes before were Rebellion, Wake Up, and Neighborhood #3, so most of this will be new to me.

7 Kettles is absolutely gorgeous. Offhand, I'm not a big fan of Crown Of Love, but the rest is, at the very worst, pretty good.

Laika was a bit weaker, but still another good track. This album's actually surprising me a bit.

I don't know how it's usually regarded, but it's a very good track.

So far:

1. Neighborhood #1
2. Une Année Sans Lumiere
3. Neighborhood #2

Nobody cares about it, really. It has the unfortunate assignment of being sandwiched between two of the album's loudest tracks.

1. Neighborhood #1
2. Neighborhood #3
3. Une Année Sans Lumiere
4. Neighborhood #2

This album's very strong through four songs.

1. Wake Up
2. Neighborhood #3
3. Rebellion
4. Neighborhood #4
5. Une Anne Sans Lumiere
6. Neighborhood #1
7. In The Backseat
8. Neighborhood #2
9. Haiti
10. Crown Of Love

9/10, one of the best of the decade.

1. Neighborhood #1
2. Neighborhood #3
3. Une Année Sans Lumiere
4. Neighborhood #4
5. Neighborhood #2

Neighborhood #4 was good also. Like you said, a gorgeous tune.

Why did Crown of Love suddenly end with a dance beat? Strange.

1. Neighborhood #1
2. Neighborhood #3
3. Une Année Sans Lumiere
4. Neighborhood #4
5. Neighborhood #2
6. Crown of Love

1. Rebellion (Lies)
2. Neighborhood #1
3. Neighborhood #3
4. Wake Up
5. Une Année Sans Lumiere
6. Neighborhood #4
7. Neighborhood #2
8. Haiti
9. Crown of Love

 Hi, Khan.

1. Rebellion (Lies)
2. Neighborhood #1
3. Neighborhood #3
4. Wake Up
5. Une Année Sans Lumiere
6. Neighborhood #4
7. Neighborhood #2
8. Haiti
9. Crown of Love

Brace yourself for In The Backseat. It's a grower, but beautiful.
