I know how to play Quick Machines on guitar and the riff isn't too similar when you learn how to play it. It's in Drop D at least.

The new album should be great Better than CHINESE DEMOCRACY LOLZ!!11!

Vertigo's riff is from the Sonic Youth song Dirty Boots.

Well my guitar instructor is teachin me to play it, but I'll try to tab the main riff here:

It's in drop D tuning, so this will be the low D & A strings:

10 - 12 - 0 - 10 - 12 - 0 - 10 - 12 - 0 - 9 - 12 - 12 - 0 - 3 - 0 - 3 - 0
10 - 12 - 0 - 10 - 12 - 0 - 10 - 12 - 0 - 9 - 12 - 12 - 0 - 3 - 0 - 3 - 0

It's played real fast and it's hard to hear the open notes (the 0's) but I guarantee they are there.
