Here's hoping there's someone out there who is a V8 Supercars fan!
So I went to Sandown yesterday hoping for a good result (ie a holden win). Everything was looking good - we had the best car, a terrific combination (Tander/Skaife) and on pole. Now, Tander was down in fourth soon after the start but the car was that quick he shot into the lead.
Skaifey was miles in front, and it seemed the ancient Motorsport Gods were shining down on the Holdens because Lowndes went down a lap due to a slow stop for a brake pad change. So the block next to me starts singing in a high-pitched voice (to signal the fat lady).
And then Skaife stuffs it and my emotion was:
and 
And then the Kelly brothers were leading and my emotion was:
And then Bright overtook him and my emotion was:
And then Rick Kelly came charging at him with about 7 laps to go and I was all like:
And then he fell just short and I felt:
Oh well, we'll rebound at Bathurst.
