I don't have them, but should I buy one I'd go for II. Civil War really is a great song. Maybe I'll also go for the Greatest Hits though, as that one has everything. November Rain AND Civil War AND Don't Cry AND You Could Be Mine AND Live And Let Die (already have the Knockin' On Heaven's Door single).

i only have 2: for goog reason; its got all the great songs with the exception of november rain (which obviously would be a good reason to have part 1)

2 had don't cry with different words after everyone was already used to and loved the lyrics of #1... which made it quite strange...

plus... 1 had november rain, 2 did not

therefore, it's all about #1.

back in 1991 I would have said 2 just for Civil War.

I love the video trilogy "Don't Cry", "November Rain", and "Estranged." A true epic in the history of rock and roll.
