(US) Big Brother 7: All Stars

CBS has just launched the official site. A special episode will air in June with the 20 potential houseguests. Voting through the CBS website will then determine the 12-14 that will play Big Brother: All Stars!

Could be the best season ever or it could be as lame as Survivor: All Stars (where anyone that had previously won or was a strategic threat received an early ticket home). Let's hope folks like Will from BB2 aren't targeted right away. Also, I hope and pray that America doesn't vote for boring people like Jack that will simply be undertheradar the whole time and win. We need fourteen houseguests that are all equally popular and equally threatening.

I really hate reality TV, but Big Brother is the one reality show I've been a loyal viewer of since the beginning.

I'd love to see Dr. Will back for the potential drama/evil scheming.

Dr. Will single handedly made Big Brother.....after the tedious first installment, he came on and turned an already dull season into something with lots of excitement. The series might've died without him around. If there's a MUST, it's Will.

Yesterday, CBS's site for whatever reason had a funky looking poll..........perhaps they were trying to leak out the names? I know they've given away Survivor winners through the site before and such.....

A few hours later, CBS posted another Top 20 list, although this one featured less interesting personalities from the show and people less likely to play. If the Top 20 poll contains all of those in the above, we're certainly in for quite a treat, although Danielle/Ivette had mentioned before that they wouldn't play, but it's come to light that they were asked BEFORE CBS contacted them, so maybe CBS is handing out $ beforehand or something?

With the contestant being picked by America's Choice, i don't see how Will wouldn't be on the show. He was the best player throughout all of the seasons.

i wouldn't be upset if Jase didn't make it back. really don't care to see Diane back myself.

Will's board game or whatever it was where the 'spirits' were summoned in the house and freaked everyone out was priceless. I think he attached a fake personal story to it that really got to everyone once he started to cry . I can't remember it that well. He was definitely the best manipulator the house has had to date.

I can't wait for this!!! I think there are only 3 real shoo-ins to be in the house... Kaysar, Janelle and of course, Dr. Will. Too bad Danielle said no already, she should be there. I'm still worried though as Survivor All-Stars was just awful...

Yes, Survivor: All Stars was beyond horrid. The same nine I picked to be the first nine out matched up with the first nine booted. And the person I picked to win it, Amber, did so. Even then, ignoring how predictable and unfair it was, the season was a total bore with a real lack of excitement once people like Richard Hatch and Rob Cesternino were sent packing.

Hopefully, the Big Brother crowd won't try to immediately gun for former winners (Will) or huge strategic threats (Janelle).......otherwise, we're in for another installment of "watch the least deserving contests win!"

Plus 6 boys, 6 girls. No battle of the sexes.

If someone hadn't already started this thread, I was going to. I LOVE BB. It is the Original Trashy Reality show and nobody does it better. I find watching human nature unfold on that show to be just fascinating. (Only season 4 was so sleazy that I finally couldn't watch anymore. Jun and Alison had to be two of the grossest people ever to be on television).

Anyway, I don't want anyone from BB4 to get back on (though I know some of them will.) I'd like to see Chicken George get in just because BB1 was the ugly stepchild of the seasons (granted it was a lot more boring) and I'd like to see someone from the first season on. Obviously Kayser and Janelle are in for sure. I kinda suspect everyone from season 6 will be back in. I would love to see Danielle and Diane get back in. Diane just had so much spunk and I felt so bad for her when Drew screwed her over.

Who knows I may actually vote in this thing!

For those of you, like me, who don't want to spend the money to get the live feed subscription (I'm not THAT obsessed) there's an excellent website called Joker's Updates (www.jokersupdates.com) that puts out daily recaps of everything that went on the house. They are painstakingly put together by the Truly Obsessed who have the live feed subscriptions and it is fascinating stuff. I actually found it better than the show itself. You learn so much more about the HG and what they are really like. Last summer the show became like a brief visual bonus 3X a week where I got to see some of what I'd been reading about.

And let me tell you, that whole thing where reality TV stars say they make them look bad on TV--not true. In almost every case, based on the live feeds, the people in BB6 were far, far worse unedited and "real." If anything BB6 edited them to look better than they were.

Can't wait for this to get started. Woo-hoo!

Males:

Chicken George (because he's slightly more mature than Jase/Cowboy/Howie)
Will (Duh)
Bunky (For the tears, laughter, and I'm interested in seeing him become a power player)
Marcellas (Can't avoid him, but I'll be laughing when his lack of personality and cockiness results in an early eviction)
Kaysar (His high and mighty attitude makes his downfall even more hilarious)
James (To mindfuck everyone)

Females:

Lisa (One of my favorite players. A heart of gold, a former winner, and she'll do whatever she wants this season because she's got a target on her back.)
Danielle (One of the game's brightest players. She single handedly made for most of BB3's entertainment)
Alison (I despise her, but train wrecks are ever so fun to watch, especially when she was on The Amazing Race)
Diane (Easily the best player in BB5. Let's hope she wins it)
Janelle (A shoe in, although I prefer her to be pissed off and losing the game, rather than the opposite. Very cool either way)
Ivette (Deserves to show us her true nature without being brainwashed any longer, plus, FANTASTIC meltdowns!)

I just hate whiners so that's why I didn't want Bunky, or Alison or Ivette. Chicken George would be so out of his element it would be sad to watch, he is so much older than the rest too. Lisa admits to riding coattails plus she won already so I passed on her too.

The beauty of this all-stars is that unlike other reality shows, these people and their strategies have been on the web 24-7 so each competitor will have a better understanding of each other and their twisted little games. The initial alliances should be interesting to see along with whom is targeted as the biggest threat in the game. I'm not sure if Will will be successful this time as people are much more aware of backstabbing in this game than when he won plus his self-admitted lying is legend now.

Well, voting is over.........lots of players (and their fans) were spamming the CBS site with Autovoters. Most notably Erika and Cowboy (since really, there's no way either'll be a Producer's Pick, so they needs all the votes they can get)........however, the autovoters repoted about a total of 300 Million votes, whereas Julie Chen revealed after nearly a week of voting that "12.5 million votes were cast" so the rumored rule of five hundred votes for IP address seems to be on target.

Let's home everything is order and that we don't have Ambers on this season (I'm looking at you Erika......you are NOT an All Star. You did nothing the entire season, and your one memorable moment was a bit of racist slurring.)

Two people are Head of Household. Janelle and Jase. If the two don't come up with the same nominations, the two of them will end up on the chopping block. Right now, Danielle is running around trying to get Jase to put up different nominations so that Janelle can be voted out. Lots of people want to target the BB6-ers (who also seem alligned with Erika and Marcellas) because they don't seem likely to ever vote each other out. Right before the audio clicked off, James was proposing to Jase that he and Janelle could nominate Nakomis and vote her out since she's a threat and Jase might want revenge.........

Oh, and Dr. Will did an interview right before the game that you can find online........he mentioned how he's really only there to help Mike "Boogie" and that he'll donate all of the money to charity if he somehow finds himself in first or second place. I believe he made a deal with CBS that if they put him in the house, they have to guarantee a slot for "Boogie"......lame indeed, but you can't have All Stars without the star of BB2.
