You guys have given me a concept for the first issue of a comic book I'm writing. Thanks.

With Obama and McCain, the choice is rather easy. McCain is a closet liberal who has claimed that he has little knowledge of economics. It's not really the liberal part that bothers me, it's the constant pandering to either side. Sad. Obama is far more liberal than I can stand, but he's much more pure than McCain and I honestly believe we would see greater change with him in the White House. As for other candidates...we've been discussing Ron Paul, right? I think the man is a nut, but there are a few things we agree on. Not enough for me to vote for him though. Libertarians in general...ehh...

I've always liked Mike Huckabee. He hasn't pulled any pandering bullshit, and we have similar values. He's supposedly going to be McCain's VP...interesting choice.
Geez, you Republicans really are too conservative. 2048? Good God, be a bit progressive and get things done in a realistic timeframe.

I'm surprised you consider Obama far too liberal, because I see him as part of this problem - typified by Tony Blair and Kevin Rudd - of left leaders moving to the centre and watering things down. I would never consider him a fellow leftie, rather a centrist ally. In what way(s) do you think he is too liberal?

I can't stand Hickabee. Fundies can fuck off. Crude, but the guy drives me up the wall.

I'm #57 in overall posts. I like being in that range. Keeps me from feeling like a total loser, yet still a major part of the forum.

Hey, LM, this may seem a bit random, but while you're here - what's your e-mail address? I know I did have it, but I can't bloody recall it now.

It was originally 2178, but Bush helped things along a bit.

Obama is, based on his voting record, the most liberal candidate by a good mile. I'd post it, but dang, I wouldn't want to sort through to look for the good parts. Again, it's not a big deal to me, and wouldn't prevent me from voting for the man. I know the most America's most left are greedy destroyers of abortion clinics compared to New Zealand's right.

LemonMelon, if you did get your show, would you do the music for it because that would be all kinds of win.

Absolutely. I already have, actually. I made a crude pilot for my show (in the same read-along style as the U2 cartoons) and posted it on youtube. The opening and closing credits are both my songs.

Awesome. See I bet you could branch out and do a lot of things. I mean would you consider scoring or writing tracks for other shows?

Well, maybe you lot should hurry things up by shitting on the constitution a little more and giving Bush a third term.

I was always a big fan of Dennis Kucinich. My views seemed to be very close to his. He was never a viable candidate for the nomination, of course, but I do wish he could at least be a viable running mate.
